Jordan Burks
6’9 205 | F/ Wing | UCF
Great size and mobility. Shot the ball extremely well vs. UCLA (22 pts, 6 reb, 6–11 from three) and is at 37% from three on the year. What stood out most in person was how fluid and comfortable he looked moving at his size, not stiff at all. Legit 6’9 wing who can move, space the floor, and get shots off cleanly. His game pops much more live than it does on paper. Definitely raised my eyebrows as a potential NBA sized wing with shooting.
Eric Dailey Jr
6’8 230 | Wing/Guard | UCLA
Was very impressed with his size, movement, and physicality. 6’8 with a big frame at 230 and plays guard. Moves well and is strong, really showcased his scoring ability against UCF dropping 20pts 5 rebounds 2 Blks and 2 steals (8-17 from the field and 2-6 from 3). Less efficient vs. UConn (12 pts 5-12 from the field, 1-2 from three), but still impacted the game. He’s comfortable handling the ball and has shot creating ability. Not having the best year shooting it but his mechanics and good mid range game show that he can knock it down.
Alex Karaban
6’8 230 | Wing | UCONN
It’s well known that Karaban is a high level college player. The question has been whether his game can translate to the NBA, particularly due to concerns about his athleticism. In person, though, his athleticism and movement impressed me more than expected. Karaban is extremely active off the ball, constantly running, using screens, and creating separation from defenders. Particularly in the UCLA game, their forwards noticeably had a tough time staying attached and keeping up with Karaban. Highly efficient scoring in both games (27 vs. UCLA, 22 vs. Furman). Shot making, feel, and off ball movement clearly translate. Shooting remains elite; he went 8 for 17 from downtown through two games and 18 for 32 from the field. The athleticism concerns are still there, but he’s more dynamic in person than he gets credit for.
Braylon Mullins
6’5 | Guard | UCONN
Mullins in person also surprised me a little bit. Although he has a thin frame he's taller than I thought. He teeters more towards 6'6 than his listed height of 6’5. The ways in which he impacted the game while not knocking down shots is what impressed me. Mullins showed his ability to score inside, and displayed a solid floater game. Although he was 0-8 from three against Furman, his playmaking and defensive activity flourished recording 6 assists and 3 steals. Didn't miss a free throw in the first two rounds going a perfect 7-7 and had 17 points against UCLA going 2-6 from the three point line and 5-9 from the field. I think he proved he was more than just a shooter he can contribute across the board. Competitive, versatile guard with more to his game than just shooting.
Xavier Booker
6’11 245 | F | UCLA
Xavier Booker is a mobile legitimate 6’11 big. Runs the floor very well for his size and is a real shot blocking presence. What surprised me most was his ability to hit the outside shot. Booker is a low attempt but efficient three point shooter, 29-67 on the year (43.3%). What I saw in person was a player who was confident and comfortable shooting from three. Between the first two rounds Booker went 4-7 from three. He had 15pts, 4 blocks and 8 rebounds in a win over UCF. Combines length, mobility, and shot disruption with flashes of perimeter skill.
Ja’Kobi Gillespie
6’1 | G | Tennessee
One of the most polished guards in the country. Tight handle, knocked down shots all over the court and a floor general. Super quick, ran circles around opposing players, and got around bigs when they jumped ballscreens. His height is the factor that limits him from NBA draft talks. Had an outstanding first two rounds in Philly: 29 pts, 9 ast (6–11 3PT, 11–22 FG) vs. Miami (OH), followed by 21 pts and 6 ast vs. Virginia. He does exactly what you want your PG to do, he can shoot the lights out, playmaker (he threw a ton of lobs), strong ball handler, and lightning quick. Clear offensive engine, but his size is his limiting factor, defensively will be a challenge at the next level.
Felix Okpara
6’11 242 | F | Tennessee
Was very impressed with Okpara’s size and athleticism. 6’11 with a great vertical pop and gets up and down the floor with ease. Strong rim protector (4 blocks vs. Virginia) and a clear lob threat. Chemistry with Gillespie stood out – constant lob connection. Productive in both games (12 pts vs. Miami OH, strong rebounding numbers). Offensive game is still raw, but the size, athleticism, and shot blocking ability make him an intriguing developmental big.
Tarris Reed
6’11 265 | F | UCONN
I feel like you know what you're getting with a Tarris Reed. The 6 '11 265 big had an absolutely dominant first two rounds of the NCAA tournament, where he was facing double teams in both games. A historic performance, Reed put up 31 points and 27 rebounds against Furman. A physical big with a skilled post game and good footwork. Not a shooter but an elite rebounder and effective around the rim. I could see him as a potential backup NBA big who can control the glass and bring physicality.
Jacari White
6’3 | G | Virginia
Jacari White was the most explosive shooter throughout the first two rounds in Philly. White has the ability to knockdown threes running off movement. He gets a ton of lift on his jumper, and adjusts his body mid air to knockdown off balance outside shots. A very quick and athletic guard, White came off the bench for Virginia to come in and put up points. Had a great game against Wright State, posting 26 PTS on 10-12 shooting, and 6-8 from downtown. His shot wasn’t falling against Tennessee but still found ways to score at the rim. He’s an elite shooter at 43.4% on the season, but he is a little undersized given he projects as a 2 guard at the NBA level.
